UFC 115 sold out in record time and in two days before tickets were available to the general public. How fair is that? I guess it depends on if you got tickets or not. If you’re not a member of the UFC Fight Club, it’s probably unfair cause most events don’t sellout during a presale (cause usually there’s only a limited supply of tickets in the presale) and now you didn’t even get a chance to franticly log-on to Ticketmaster, type as fast as you can, cross your fingers and your toes, and pray to whoever you feel you need to pray to (I usually go with Joe Pesci) that your internet is faster than everyone else’s. If you are a member of the UFC Fight Club, this is more than fair cause membership runs you $74.99 annually and first crack at tickets is the biggest perk (unless you really like the exclusive t-shirt). That’s a lot coin for something that may roll through your once a year if your lucky (though considering the record time, they’ll be back next year). If you didn’t get tickets and you still want tickets, there are a few options. There’s StubHub, Craigslist, and eBay. Scalpers are scum, but you gotta do what you gotta do. You could also go to your local video store, pick yourself up a copy of Detroit Rock City and take some pointers from the four young lads trying to get they’re way into a KISS concert, though don’t try what Trip (James DeBello’s character) tried. That’ll probably get you in jail… and not just the night but for a while.
